Reports from the Parker River Refuge on Plum Island included 15
GADWALLS, 50 NORTHERN PINTAILS, 2 BALD EAGLES, a ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, a
very late SEMIPALMATED PLOVER, a SNOWY OWL, a BARRED OWL, a
SHORT-EARED OWL, a NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL, 2 PEREGRINE FALCONS, and a
NORTHERN SHRIKE.

A PINK-FOOTED GOOSE continues to be observed with a CANADA GOOSE flock
on Argilla Road in Ipswich, and 3 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE are
frequenting the fields off Scotland Road in Newbury, and another
GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was observed with 2 SNOW GEESE at the
Topsfield Fair Grounds.

In Saugus at Bear Creek Park, a ROSS'S GOOSE was observed along with 2
SNOW GEESE and 4 SHORT-EARED OWLS.

Two BARROW'S GOLDENEYES were observed at Monponsett Pond in Halifax,
and single individuals were also seen at North Scituate, and Deer
Island in Boston Harbor where a THICK-BILLED MURRE was also observed.

Miscellaneous reports included 7 REDHEADS and 7 TREE SWALLOWS at
Chilmark Great Pond on Martha's Vineyard; a NORTHERN SHOVELER and 2
NORTHERN PINTAILS at Hager Pond in Marlboro; a PACIFIC LOON at
Cathedral Ledge in Rockport; 17 BLACK VULTURES in Blackstone; 2
SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS at Ellisville Harbor in Plymouth; a GLAUCOUS GULL
in Lunenburg; the continued presence of 2 WHITE-WINGED DOVES near the
Victory Garden at the Boston Fenway; single YELLOW-BREASTED CHATS in
Nahant, South Dartmouth, and Acoaxet; 32 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS in Wayland;
and 3 BALTIMORE ORIOLES in Westport.
